Another year and another excellent turn out for the CITMA London Christmas lunch held at the Hilton on Park Lane. This year saw a particular milestone and much to celebrate with the unveiling of the Royal Charter. Instated as a sign of recognition and distinguishment to those who are registered, the Charter took effect as of the 24Th November.

It was the hot topic of conversation amongst guests, as well as the focus an impressive speech given by CITMA president Kate O’Rourke. Another theme was of course Brexit and what does this mean for the Trade Mark world?  Although the impact remains unknown in these infant stages, it was clear from Kate’s speech that all hands are on deck to minimise any cause for concerns and that the Trade Mark market remains as strong as ever.

An enormously triumphant day, a celebration of achievements and a chance to collectively commend the sector, well done and praise indeed!
