Employment Solicitor

An Employment Solicitor is required to join our client in York and work on their national, high quality employment law matters. This is a standout Employment role for so many reasons. The Role
-From day one you will run your own caseload of claimant employment matters. Our client works closely with a number of trade unions across a wide variety of sectors and therefore the employment matters are diverse and varied.
-In this role you will form part of a sizeable team working on national matters. The York office consists of a highly approachable and friendly Partner, a number of solicitors of varying levels of experience and paralegals who are at hand to support you with your caseload. The larger team also has fee earners, based in London.
-In this role you will work from home four days a week but you must be able to commute to York one day a week, but true working flexibility is on offer with this role. More office time is of course welcomed.
-You will be encouraged to generate your own employment work as well and the reward for this will be an excellent bonus structure from work that you bring in.

The Person
-The ideal candidate will have trade union experience, but this is by no means essential and therefore any Solicitors from a claimant or respondent background will be happily considered.
- Ideally our client is looking for a solicitor 2-6 PQE, however, this is given as a guideline and solicitors falling outside of that PQE range but with the relevant knowledge and experience are encouraged to apply.
-Our client is looking for someone commercially minded who can fee earn totally self-sufficiently given the fact that you will largely be based in the comforts of you own home.
