Head of Legal Corporate Governance

Sacco Mann is delighted to be assisting in the recruitment of a Head of Legal Corporate Governance in partnership with one of the largest digital retailers in the UK and Ireland. We have a longstanding relationship with the In-house legal department, which remains a pivotal and integral function to the working and success of the entire group. There now exists a new vacancy for a UK qualified solicitor to head up a newly created function, based out of their Merseyside HQ with hybrid working on offer.

Reporting into the Group Legal Director, the Head of Legal will focus on ensuring all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements across Retail, Operations, IT, Financial Services, and the wider Group are met, as well as acting as a point of contact for the Board and Committees. It's likely to suit a solicitor with a minimum of 6yrs PQE gained in corporate governance, or general experience in corporate law, with a strong understanding of regulatory rules.

This is a key appointment and requires exceptional relationship building, communication, influencing and leadership skills. In return you can expect a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
