Two of the Sacco Mann IP team, Catherine French and Clare Humphris, attended this year’s 2024 CIPA IP Ball in support of, incredible charity, GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital) who work tirelessly to provide support and treatment to seriously ill children. The ball this year was held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms and grand it certainly was!

We were welcomed to the evening with a glass of something fizzy and, as always, got the chance to catch up with the Attorneys lucky enough to get a ticket to the Patent event of the year! The theme was masquerade black tie and it was great to see everyone dressed up to the nines hiding their faces behind their masks. The venue did not disappoint, beautiful chandeliers hung from the impressive arched ceiling and, beneath the lights, Patent Attorneys from across the UK found seats at their tables which were elegantly decorated with diamonds and chic white feathers.

We were lucky enough to sit on a table with the fantastic CIPA IP Ball organisers, the GOSH representatives and even Harry Kane’s doppelganger (you know who you are 😉)! Inspirational stories were shared highlighting how important donations really are to this extraordinary hospital who rely on charitable support to go above and beyond for the children who need it most.

As the speeches and the raffle drew to a close, the Sacco Mann sponsored photobooth queue got longer and longer, casino tables filled up and we danced the night away.

We’re already looking forward to the next one!
