Our growing Secretarial & Business Support Division specialises in successfully placing a variety of non-fee earning roles into law firms, from international teams to small boutique firms, each with their own individual needs for their support team. Covering Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Yorkshire and recently the West Midlands due to high demand. Understanding that quality support is essential to any team or business functionality, the team successfully match skill sets and personality traits with company culture to ensure a great fit; whilst also discussing important career aspirations and development opportunities.
Meet the team who can help you…
Aimee Kelly:
What is your role?
As a Senior Manager, I have been working at Sacco Mann since 2013 and started managing the Secretarial division in 2018. I work across a couple of teams and my role within Secretarial incorporates providing support and development to the team to ensure we provide the best service possible to both our candidates and clients.
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose?
This is a tough one! I think it’d have to be Pep Guardiola because, well, why not?! What a hero that man is (in the world of football managers of course) and to gain an insight into his world and mind for just one day would be fun!
Katy O’Loughlin:
What is your role?
As Managing Consultant, I joined Sacco Mann in January 2017 to set up the Legal Secretarial and Business Support division. As well as managing the team; I recruit for Legal PA, Legal Secretarial, Administration and Legal Cashier roles - basically anything non-fee earning! I also work on more senior positions such as Office Manager, Practice Manger, Secretarial Manager and more senior finance roles too. Covering the North, Yorkshire (with a personal focus on Sheffield, this is where I went to University) and more recently the West Midlands. We each have our own clients, who we work closely with, and really get to know them so that we can match the right candidates to their perfect support roles.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I am really scared of heights but managed to conquer my fear by doing a sky dive in New Zealand & absolutely loved it! I would do one again.
Leona Taylor:
What is my role?
I am a Consultant within the Secretarial & Business Support division. I place candidates in Manchester, Cheshire and the whole of Yorkshire, with one of my specialty locations being Chester. In my position, I pride myself in forming and maintaining really strong client relationships and this is something I enjoy. I liaise with candidates, guide them through interviews and to offer stages, with the client’s requirements in mind.
What’s one of your favourite memories from the past year?
My favourite memories would definitely be the countries I have travelled to. I was lucky enough to see Belfast, Paris, Edinburgh, Ibiza & Florida in 2019 and they are my favourite memories!
Serena Waring:
What is your role?
I joined Sacco Mann in December 2018 and have since progressed, now at the start of my Consultancy career within the Secretarial & Business Support division. My role consists of working closely with both candidates and clients throughout the entire recruitment process to help them source their perfect new fit! It is my priority to ensure I understand exactly what both parties are seeking to help make this process as smooth as possible.
What’s something – big or small – that you’re really good at?
I wouldn’t say I’m Master Chef level (!) but I do love and enjoy home cooking and have been told I’m good at this! I like trying new recipes, foods and flavours, forever expanding on what I cook. Including 5* reviews on the recent Sacco Mann sausage roll wreath I made for one of our Manchester office birthday celebrations! However, my downfall is desserts…
Louise Marsh:
What is your role?
I have recently joined Sacco Mann as a Resourcer within the Secretarial & Business Support division. My days consist of supporting the Consultants in the team, liaising with candidates, writing job adverts, making sure the databases are up to date and much more.
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?
Getting cosy on the sofa with a blanket and a cup of tea!
